Silver Care

All our silver is 925 Sterling Silver.

Strong chemicals, sulphur, sweat and perspiration, chlorine, and harsh sunlight can tarnish and corrode the brilliant shine of silver. Therefore to avoid tarnishing, it is best to remove jewellery when cleaning, exercising, bathing, swimming, lying in the sun, when applying lotions, oils and other beauty products.

Chemicals and contaminants in water can result in tarnished and dull-looking silver, so it's best to throughly dry your jewellery when it comes to water.

Sterling silver is pretty strong but scratching is to be expected with wear. To minimise, store your pieces separately in cool, dry places. Preventative care is always easier than aftercare.

Use a simple micro-fibre or special jewellery cloth to clean your goods in smooth back and forth motions. Avoid spreading the tarnish by using different parts of the cloth. For guaranteed shine use a silver dip or cleaner. This will ensure optimal shine.
